The memorial site for Genevieve Bouvier is located above Chamonix about 100 vertical meters below the Pierre a Ruskin memorial plaque.  The site consists of a path that zigzags up the hill to a grave site with a large stone tomb and a stone slab with a bronze bust of Genevieve. The stone slab is engraved with her name and the year 1884-1935. We tried to find more information on Genevieve Bouvier but we could not find any. If anyone more information then please tell us.

The memorial is located on a side trail of the Chemin de la Pierre a Ruskin which runs next to the Brevent lift station. The side trail is dead end so you have to visit the memorial and head back to the Chemin de la Pierra a Ruskin. You can easily walk here from Chamonix center. It can also be done as a short detour from the Petit Balcon Sud or as part of your walk to Park Merlet
