This is an absolutely gorgeous lake with crystal clear waters and a nice path that you can take to walk around the lake and admire it from all directions. There are many fish in the water and a small wooden deck that you can use to get a big closer to deeper waters. There are rocks and picnic benches making this an excellent spot for a family picnic.

There is snack bar nearby which is open in the summer months. The lake can be visited as part of many trails that start at the Plaine Joux recreational area or travel up to Plaine Joux from Servoz. The lake is accessible both in winter and summer but in winter you definitely should not get near to the water edge and when in doubt stay for away.
