Les Trois Gouilles are three small lakes located above Vieux Servoz roughly half-way up the mountain towards the very popular Lac Vert. A "Gouille" is a small lake in the old Savoyard regional language. The three small lakes are roughly 200 meters apart. The IGN map shows the lakes as a single lake and doesnt really show much detail in the many trails that run around in that area. If you are coming up from Servoz then it is best to stay on the main trail towards Lac Vert that will enable you to reach the 2 southern most located lakes first. The lake on the north is on a separate trail and will require you to go there and then head back again. If you are only visiting these 3 lakes then you can do a loop to hit all three lakes and then head back to Servoz. Personally we liked the southern most lake the best as its located in a bit of a bowl and the surrounding is very pictoresque. The other two were less attractive with a lot of dead and fallen trees.
