The Flegere gondola runs from Les Praz (1060m) to La Flegere (1882m).  The Flegere gondola connects to the Index Chair Lift. which ends at the Index at 2595m.  Both are good starting points for a visit to the famous Lac Blanc and the Refuge Lac Blanc right next to it. 

In winter, the lift is part of the Flegere ski area which also connects to the Brevent ski area. In summer, it is open from mid June to mid September.  Children below 1 years old are not allowed to ride the gondola. There is a ticket office at the ground station in Les Praz where you can buy your tickets directly before going.
